The weather had been good all week and Forus was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Rolling Doll found a gap and took the lead. Coughing Nugget followed before Valerie.

General Bomb saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of Funky Glittering who started to galop and lost 30 m.

Rolling Doll looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Coughing Nugget couldn't come out from behind the leader, General Bomb.

Coughing Nugget accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

Skollo was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Coughing Nugget sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Rolling Doll sprinted over the finishline before Coughing Nugget and Umpalumpa Superior.
