The sun was shining on Åby and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Tempting Lilac took the lead after a very quick start. Sophisticated Heat suddenly started to galop. Örjan Kihlström had to struggle to get Sophisticated Heat to tror again and succeded after 40 m.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Starshine Maid sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.



Franca Sozzani Boss sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.






Franca Sozzani Boss didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
