One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Frozen Grove was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Lying Velvet saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Roser started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Frozen Grove looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Sioux Rebel couldn't come out from behind the leader, Lying Velvet. Sioux Rebel suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m.




Frozen Grove looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Lying Velvet galloped for 40 m.




Frozen Grove didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Frozen Grove were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Winner of todays race was Frozen Grove. Lying Velvet came in second. Sioux Rebel became third.
