Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Leangen track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Tranquil Thought tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to My Name Is Cane that came steaming ahead.

Tough Wave quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

My Name Is Cane took the lead after 1000m. Tough Wave didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Calming Band was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. My Name Is Cane took the lead after 1000m. Money Well Spent didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Tough Wave sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
