One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Slippery Angel was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Toot was in fine shape and held the lead.




Toot looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Shining Tropic couldn't come out from behind the leader, Grand Ocaso Hill.




Grand Ocaso Hill was still in the lead after 1500m. Rapid Racer galloped for 20 m.



Grand Ocaso Hill sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

driver couldn't keep Travelling Sky to trotting so they were disqualified.




Shining Tropic kept the speed the whole finish and won before Slippery Angel and Criminal Yankee.
