One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Made In Italy could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Mercedes Balogh wanted a little to much in the start and Fast Missile galoped for 30 m.
This is the positions after 500m. Kortney, Cheyenne Rebel, Schuimend Ruit, Fast Missile, Made In Italy, Nessla Jazztobak, Perfect Giggle, Frosty Wardrobe. Kortney started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.
Cheyenne Rebel sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.
Schuimend Ruit accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Troubling Sapphire gallopped for 10 m.
Kortney was first on the homestretch followed by Perfect Giggle and Cheyenne Rebel.
Made In Italy galopped for 40 m on the homestretch.
Winner of todays race was Kortney. Nessla Jazztobak came in second. Schuimend Ruit became third.
