The weather had been good all week and Årjäng was in good shape.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Crossing Gossip could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.
There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.
Floating Sun sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.
Nothing seemed to be able to stop Floating Sun today. It continued in the lead.
Floating Sun was still in the lead after 2000m.
Funky Lemonade was first on the homestretch followed by Moonlight Wind and Floating Sun.
Crossing Gossip won. Speed Your Fire came in second. Floating Sun caught third place.
