One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Waving Gold took the lead after a very quick start. Howell was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified. When the startcar left the field Valbusa started to galop and lost 20 m.

Slight Twist saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Whatever Dancer sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Whatever Dancer followed by Valbusa and Melanchoky. Lane two Loretta followed by Criminal Supernollan and Waving Gold.

Loretta speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Criminal Supernollan made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Melanchoky.
