The sun was shining on Åmål and it was a perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Duchess sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.

Ulven Peder quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Dream Vision galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Ulven Peder followed by Sneaking Queen and Amabella. Lane two Sly Wave followed by Jukebox and Duchess.

Ulven Peder kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.

Ulven Peder kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

driver couldn't keep Sly Wave to trotting so they were disqualified.

Sneaking Queen won. Ulven Peder came in second. Like Gold caught third place.
