One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Milner was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.
Pink Vixen quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.
The leader got disturbed by something and
Brave Ballerina took the lead rather easily.
Standings after 1500m . Lane one
Brave Ballerina followed by
Galant Hoff and
Pink Vixen. Lane two
Milner followed by
Tripping Raspberry and
Tough Power.
Tripping Raspberry galloped for 20 m.
Brave Ballerina were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.
Brave Ballerina kept the speed the whole finish and won before
Milner and
Galant Hoff.
