The weather had been good all week and Hankasalmi was in good shape.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Stopping Electra took the lead after a very quick start.
The leader couldn't hold the lead and Madonna On Fire sprinted to the front.
The leader got disturbed by something and Singing
Sky took the lead rather easily.
Insane Mistress saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Stopping Electra galloped way to long and was disqualified.
Insane Mistress kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.
The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Insane Mistress galop. Insane Mistress lost 50 m.
Madonna On Fire made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Fiamingo.
