One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Nessla Duckface could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Carlos Fortuna saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Whatever Dancer sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Whatever Dancer followed by Nessla Duckface and Nessla Fiesta. Lane two Cosmic Darkness followed by Perfect Darkness and Carlos Fortuna.




Cosmic Darkness put some pressure on the leader and could take over.



Nessla Fiesta speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Cosmic Darkness sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
