One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Funky Bouquet tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Vuur Van Parel that came steaming ahead. Close Bullet suddenly started to galop. Richard L Jansson had to struggle to get Close Bullet to tror again and succeded after 30 m.

There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Vuur Van Parel suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m.

Vuur Van Parel was still in the lead after 1500m.

Vuur Van Parel kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

No-one could catch Funky Bouquet today who won before Vuur Van Parel and Close Bullet.
