Start List
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Grand Max found a gap and took the lead. Mesquite followed before Solkatt. Clever
Power suddenly started to galop. Kaj Widell had to struggle to get Clever
Power to tror again and succeded after 10 m.
Poggio Climb quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.
No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.
Standings after 1500m . Lane one Poggio Climb followed by Barefoot Spring and Mesquite. Lane two Shining Queen followed by Clever
Power and Grand Max. Shining Queen galloped for 10 m. Solkatt galloped for 50 m.
With only a little left of the race Miss Holland galoped for 40 m. Grand Max litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.
Barefoot Spring galoped for 60m and was disqualified.
Grand Max didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
