One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Lavillenie tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Close Moon that came steaming ahead.
Putz Weg C.C. quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.
No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.
Close Moon saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Putz Weg C.C. showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.
Lavillenie was first on the homestretch followed by Close Moon and Front Band.
Winner of todays race was Lavillenie. Wild Pony came in second. Front Band became third.
