One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Popcornia was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Tomas Pettersson wanted a little to much in the start and Old Tiger galoped for 30 m.
Kleine quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.
No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.
Popcornia looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.
With only a little left of the race Heavy Factory galoped for 50 m. With only a little left of the race Kleine galoped for 20 m. Popcornia looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.
Final standings. 1 Carlos Champion, 2 Striking Lovebreaker, 3 Popcornia.
