One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Heavy Lizard was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Boniface saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of Boniface who started to galop and lost 10 m. A bird flew just in front of Opposing Girl who started to galop and lost 40 m.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.
