One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Overdekt Van Zijde sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




This is the positions after 500m. Lego, Le Temps Perdu, Well-to-do, Heavy Behemoth, Overdekt Van Zijde, Eminence Front, Independant Speed, Just Band. A bird flew just in front of Aurélie who started to galop and lost 50 m.




Le Temps Perdu sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Just Band was disturbed and galoped 40 m.




Le Temps Perdu was still in the lead after 1500m.



Independant Speed was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Overdekt Van Zijde was first on the homestretch followed by Eminence Front and Heavy Behemoth.






Heavy Behemoth won the race after a spectacular finish.
