One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Straight Right could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. driver couldn't keep Whatever Lilac to trotting so they were disqualified.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Local Nemo took the lead after 1000m. The Real Mccoy didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




The Real Mccoy accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.




The Real Mccoy was still in the lead after 2000m.



The Real Mccoy sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






The Real Mccoy didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
