It had been raining for several days at Kajaani but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Ticking Bouquet tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Manstein Larockma that came steaming ahead.
This is the positions after 500m. Knight Of Paris, Le Eiffel, Ticking Bouquet, What A Twist, Tranquil Angel, Manstein Larockma, Route Couture, Sans Xylene.
The leader got disturbed by something and Ticking Bouquet took the lead rather easily.
Standings after 1500m . Lane one Ticking Bouquet followed by Manstein Larockma and Knight Of Paris. Lane two Tranquil Angel followed by What A Twist and Le Eiffel.
Ticking Bouquet looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.
Ticking Bouquet galoped way to long and was disqualified. driver couldn't keep Route Couture to trotting so they were disqualified.
Tranquil Angel won. Manstein Larockma came in second. Knight Of Paris caught third place.
