The sun was shining on Åby and it was a perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Thai Fighter found a gap and took the lead. Speedy Wolf followed before Stifling Cookie.

This is the positions after 500m. Stifling Cookie, Hasse Opal, Fågel Fenix Superior, Ernest Blenkinsop Justice, Chiquita On Fire, Fontana Hof, Ghostly Venus, Karl Petter Løken.

Thai Fighter sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Stifling Cookie accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Thai Fighter galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

Loutillier Cherry seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead. Fågel Fenix Superior gallopped 20 m after 2000m. Thai Fighter galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Hasse Opal litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Emile Heskey Justice was disturbed and galopped for 40 m.
