One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Farbror Entand was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Farmer Johns Opal sprinted to the front.




Farbror Entand sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Turbo Boy suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 20 m.




Farbror Entand was still in the lead after 1500m.




Farmer Johns Opal put some pressure on the leader and could take over. Dizzy Mizz Lizzy gallopped 30 m after 2000m.



Escatawpa was first on the homestretch followed by Farbror Entand and Farmer Johns Opal.






Farbror Entand won the race after a spectacular finish.
