One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Galant Hoff sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Gold Runner was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.




Gold Runner quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Toulouse Guard sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Toulouse Guard was still in the lead after 1500m.



Knight Of Sunrise litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Gold Runner won the race after a spectacular finish.
