The weather had been good all week and Bjerke was in good shape.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Lonely Wonder took the lead after a very quick start. Gummer showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.
The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.
Lonely Wonder was disturbed and galoped 10 m.
Stretching Wish sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.
With only a little left of the race
Lonely Wonder galoped for 20 m.
Stretching Wish sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.
Lonely Wonder made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before
Sly Man.
