The weather had been good all week and Gävle was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Carlos Jägermeister sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Carlos Helrör sprinted to the front. Sneaking Midnight started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Hail Thruster Cherry took the lead after 1000m. Carlos Helrör didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Carlos Helrör accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

Carlos Helrör was still in the lead after 2000m.

Carlos Jägermeister was first on the homestretch followed by Carlos Helrör and The Chocolate Factory.

Jörgen Westholm tried a little too much on the homestretch and Carlos Jägermeister started to galopp and lost 30 m. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Black Flag galop. Black Flag lost 10 m.

Carlos Helrör sprinted over the finishline before Brilliant Diamonds and The Chocolate Factory.
