One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Charmed Pie tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to
Sneaking Queen that came steaming ahead.
Charmed Pie saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.
Covered In Sick started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.
Sneaking Queen took the lead after 1000m.
Tara didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.
Erebus galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m.
Sneaking Queen was still in the lead after 1500m.
Sneaking Queen kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.
Winner of todays race was
Sneaking Queen.
Charmed Pie came in second.
Erebus became third.
