Only a humble breeze blew over Skellefteå this day. The track where in perfect shape.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Madame Bovary sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. When the startcar left the field Aria Af Skövde started to galop and lost 10 m. Moving
Bandwith was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified.
Flickering Cake was in fine shape and held the lead. A bird flew just in front of Drooling Universe who started to galop and lost 40 m.
No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.
Standings after 1500m . Lane one Cylinder Hof followed by Aria Af Skövde and Modest Spring. Lane two Madame Bovary followed by Flickering Cake and Prima Mambo.
Cylinder Hof were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.
Madame Bovary never caught up with Flickering Cake who won. Cylinder Hof came third.
