One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Lying Moonlight found a gap and took the lead. Seductive Temptress followed before Evita Opal.
Heavens On Fire quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.
Evita Opal looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Can Work It Out couldn't come out from behind the leader, Heavens On Fire.
Evita Opal saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.
Can Work It Out was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Evita Opal sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.
Lying Moonlight sprinted over the finishline before Evita Opal and Nirvana On Fire.
