One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Clockwork. Apache Gold ended up behind the leader. Steel Comet got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Apache Gold was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.
The leader couldn't hold the lead and Criminal Sniff sprinted to the front.
Winter Star sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.
Apache Gold accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.
Winter Star litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.
Clockwork never caught up with Winter Star who won. Réclamant Le Trophée came third.
