Start List
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Melbourne Night Prowler was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.
This is the positions after 500m. Monster Jr, Slow Blues, Melbourne Night Prowler, Tripping Sparkle, Heracles, Zienswijze, Light Lion, Slippery Factory.
Monster Jr was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.
Heracles saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.
Heracles didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.
Heracles were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.
Jan Norberg tried a little too much on the homestretch and Zienswijze started to galopp and lost 30 m.
Slow Blues sprinted over the finishline before Melbourne Night Prowler and Heracles.
