The sun was shining on Östersund and it was a perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Chestnut Falls could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

Scootaloo saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Attack Opal was disturbed and galoped 50 m.

Pipsqueak took the lead after 1000m. Pinky Pie didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Pipsqueak followed by Chestnut Falls and Blue Thrasher. Lane two Pinky Pie followed by La Donna and Scootaloo.

Pipsqueak was still in the lead after 2000m.

With only a little left of the race Seductive Forest galoped for 20 m. Pipsqueak kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

La Donna sprinted over the finishline before Chestnut Falls and Blue Thrasher.
