One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Experienced Lieutenant tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Stopping Crusher that came steaming ahead. When the startcar left the field Rebellious Work started to galop and lost 10 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Ferocious Dribbler, Golden Box, Rebellious Work, Fierceful Ship, Stopping Crusher, Slippery Dragon, Experienced Lieutenant, Nessuno Questione.

Golden Box sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Verenigde Eer showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Experienced Lieutenant saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. driver couldn't keep Slippery Dragon to trotting so they were disqualified. Ticking Needle started to gallop after 1500m and Peter Untersteiner had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Experienced Lieutenant sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Stopping Crusher never caught up with Experienced Lieutenant who won. Fierceful Ship came third.
