The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Åby today.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Whispering Vixen. Top Of Love ended up behind the leader. Songer Ruine got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Songer Ruine started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. A bird flew just in front of Spirit Of Radio who started to galop and lost 20 m.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Heavy Boulder was disturbed and galoped 30 m. Songer Ruine galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m.

Whispering Vixen was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Spirit Of Radio was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Whispering Vixen never caught up with Top Of Love who won. Heavy Boulder came third.
