The sun was shining on Gävle and it was a perfect day for trotting.
The players just had time to make their last bets before the start. All horses seemed to be in good shape this day.
Just Star was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Neon Nugget showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.
Lawrence quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.
Famous Wave looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Ivory Mambo couldn't come out from behind the leader, Lawrence.
Nothing seemed to be able to stop Lawrence today. It continued in the lead.
Lawrence kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.
Famous Wave won the race after a spectacular finish.
