One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Isco Pegasos was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.
The leader couldn't hold the lead and
Gewölbt sprinted to the front. A bird flew just in front of
Stifling Diamond who started to galop and lost 20 m.
Slow Play showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.
Wicked looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that
Slippery Steel couldn't come out from behind the leader,
Gewölbt.
Nitamej Youll Getback suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m.
Standings after 1500m . Lane one
Gewölbt followed by
Sad Ballerina and
Stifling Diamond. Lane two
Isco Pegasos followed by
Wicked and
Slippery Steel.
Isco Pegasos litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.
Wicked galoped for 60m and was disqualified.
Sad Ballerina galopped for 20 m on the homestretch.
Stifling Diamond sprinted over the finishline before
Gewölbt and
Nitamej Youll Getback.
