The sun was shining on Gävle and it was a perfect day for trotting.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Madness On Fire was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Active Knight suddenly started to galop. Erik Lindegren had to struggle to get Active Knight to tror again and succeded after 20 m.
Pretty Whirlwind quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Fierceful Dragon who started to galop and lost 10 m.
The leader got disturbed by something and Genius Of Victory took the lead rather easily. Tick Tick Boom suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m.
Standings after 1500m . Lane one Genius Of Victory followed by Madness On Fire and Eddie Opal. Lane two Yankee Glide followed by Narkissos Lavec and Active Knight. Breaking Grove galloped for 40 m.
Genius Of Victory sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.
Narkissos Lavec sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
