The weather had been good all week and Rättvik was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Expert And Desolate. Magnetic Tape ended up behind the leader. Active Mustache got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

This is the positions after 500m. Famous Cocktail, Get It All, Windy Nutcracker, Punching Hero, Houston Hof, Active Mustache, Expert And Desolate, Magnetic Tape. Famous Cocktail started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. A bird flew just in front of Blushing Venus who started to galop and lost 30 m.

Famous Cocktail clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Famous Cocktail followed by Magnetic Tape and Ursula Larockma. Lane two Active Mustache followed by Expert And Desolate and Houston Hof.

Famous Cocktail were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.
