The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Halmstad this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Dead Thrasher tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Hoping Blast that came steaming ahead.

There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Hoping Blast started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. Caesar Rebel started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Rolling Heat looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Active Runner couldn't come out from behind the leader, Hoping Blast. Foppa Forever was disturbed and galoped 40 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Hoping Blast followed by Golden Bomb and Speciale Eenheid. Lane two Rolling Heat followed by Active Runner and Dead Thrasher. Gula Josef On Fire galloped for 40 m.

Hoping Blast were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Speciale Eenheid sprinted over the finishline before Hoping Blast and Active Runner.
