The players just had time to make their last bets before the start. All horses seemed to be in good shape this day.
Dancing Wardrobe took the lead after a very quick start. Heavy Lion was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m.
Crybaby quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.
Wandering Sugar sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.
Standings after 1500m . Lane one Wandering Sugar followed by Listening Band and Falling Architecture. Lane two Glorious Wish followed by Crybaby and Dancing Wardrobe. Falling Architecture galloped for 20 m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Heavy Lion gallopped for 30 m. Uptown Downtown started to gallop after 1500m and Jörgen Sjunnesson had to struggle to get it back in trotting.
Listening Band took the lead.
Listening Band kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.
Sid Kipley Cherry galopped for 40 m on the homestretch.
Wandering Sugar won the race after a spectacular finish.
