One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

La Donna found a gap and took the lead. Carlos Gammeldansk followed before Jumping Scope. Adventurous Body galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

Maximum Snake quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Maximum Snake was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.

Alpha Striven looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Alpha Striven sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Carlos Gammeldansk made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before La Donna.
