The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Skellefteå today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Le Poignard could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




This is the positions after 500m. Liket, Klondo, Black Lotus, Le Poignard, Big Valley, Playing Winter, Passionate Doll, Sneaky Gladiator.




Klondo took the lead after 1000m. Big Valley didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Sneaky Gladiator galloped way to long and was disqualified.



Liket galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Big Valley took the lead after 1000m. Black Lotus didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.






Big Valley didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
