Start List
The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Färjestad this day.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Operator Jim tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Dalvar Jr that came steaming ahead.
This is the positions after 500m. Arsenico Vox, Minstrel Boy, Famous Bouquet, Dragan, Bando Banditen, Operator Jim, Dalvar Jr, Red Feeling.
No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Famous Bouquet galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m.
Nothing seemed to be able to stop Arsenico Vox today. It continued in the lead.
Dalvar Jr took the lead.
Dragan litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.
The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Minstrel Boy galop. Minstrel Boy lost 40 m.
Dalvar Jr won the race after a spectacular finish.
