One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Blackburn Hof tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to
Insane Breeze that came steaming ahead.
Amazing Love saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of
Modestine who started to galop and lost 10 m.
Blackburn Hof took the lead after 1000m.
Waterlanders Trots didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.
Standings after 1500m . Lane one
Blackburn Hof followed by
Waterlanders Trots and
Skipping Tropic. Lane two
Insane Breeze followed by
Jumping Starshine and
Amazing Love.
Blackburn Hof kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.
Insane Breeze sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
