The weather had been good all week and Hankasalmi was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Comfortable Hyena took the lead after a very quick start.

Fosforo Vox quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Criminal Goal sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Criminal Goal followed by Ghostly Flower and Fosforo Vox. Lane two Glanz Dame followed by Goodbye Holly and Snowy Movement.

Goodbye Holly was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Criminal Goal were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Ghostly Flower galop. Ghostly Flower lost 10 m.

Winner of todays race was Criminal Goal. Glanz Dame came in second. Comfortable Hyena became third.
