Start List
The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Åmål this day.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Pesante Vox found a gap and took the lead. Délicieux followed before Sliding Pirate.
Sliding Pirate saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.
Délicieux sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.
Standings after 1500m . Lane one Délicieux followed by Snowy Knight and Desert Fox. Lane two Sliding Pirate followed by Pesante Vox and Rien N’est Parfait. Handy Thrasher galloped for 40 m.
Délicieux kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.
Sliding Pirate speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.
Délicieux never caught up with Sliding Pirate who won. Snowy Knight came third.
