One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Active Sword found a gap and took the lead. Ferocious Universe followed before Fast Bandwagon.

This is the positions after 500m. Starshine Giggle, Prospectus, Fast Bandwagon, Ferocious Universe, Try Again, Playing Love, Active Sword, Pampered Vixen.

Ferocious Universe took the lead after 1000m. Playing Love didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Ferocious Universe followed by Starshine Giggle and Fast Bandwagon. Lane two Active Sword followed by Playing Love and Prospectus.

Ferocious Universe didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.

Ferocious Universe looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Ferocious Universe kept the speed the whole finish and won before Active Sword and Playing Love.
