One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Dine In tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to
Honourable Beard that came steaming ahead.
Bol Tiger quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.
Handy Thrasher took the lead after 1000m.
Dine In didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.
Stopping
Fist galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.
Handy Thrasher was still in the lead after 1500m.
Handy Thrasher sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.
Handy Thrasher didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
