The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Momarken today.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Useless Affliction tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Screamer that came steaming ahead. Gunnar Eggen wanted a little to much in the start and Midnight Jewel galoped for 20 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Loving Lovebreaker, Useless Affliction, Midnight Jewel, Mumford Dylan, Handy Mountain, Screamer, Gorgeous Carneval, King Dessert. Dancing Breath started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

The leader got disturbed by something and Gorgeous Carneval took the lead rather easily. Midnight Jewel suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Gorgeous Carneval followed by King Dessert and Mumford Dylan. Lane two Useless Affliction followed by Screamer and Dancing Breath.

With only a little left of the race Growing Runner galoped for 30 m. Gorgeous Carneval looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

No-one could catch Gorgeous Carneval today who won before Useless Affliction and King Dessert.
