The sun was shining on Örebro and it was a perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Close Satellite took the lead after a very quick start. Goofy Starshine was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Chocolate Pudding, Sad Gossip, Fluoro Vox, Sowing Needle, Adventurous Folder, Cheerful Strategy, Goofy Starshine, Wimpy Baby. A bird flew just in front of Close Satellite who started to galop and lost 50 m.

Sad Gossip sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Sad Gossip today. It continued in the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Cheerful Strategy gallopped for 20 m.

Sad Gossip didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.

American Fighter was first on the homestretch followed by Sad Gossip and Sowing Needle.

Goofy Starshine sprinted over the finishline before Sad Gossip and American Fighter.
