The sun was shining on Rättvik and it was a perfect day for trotting.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Mr Las Vegas was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.
Lézard saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.
Slippery Hyena took the lead after 1000m.
Mr Las Vegas didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Lézard made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before
Slippery Hyena.
